Uralla is a historic town on the New England Highway in NSW and was the home of the bushranger Captain Thunderbolt. The name of the town was taken by the white squatter settlers from a traditional Anaiwan word from the dialect of the original inhabitants of the area meaning 'meeting place'.
With it's claim to be a 'foodie capitol' and an eclectic community, Uralla covers a lot of ground and has many attractions. On the way to meet our new client we also met Dan and saw his beautiful house, which is an incredible piece of artwork that has taken 15 years to execute.
abstractal was approached by Jo Hull owner of Properties Uralla to develop a website that the business could use to easily market themselves and their real estate.
Jo wanted her website Properties Uralla to be a dynamic website that the business could continuously update. The requirements were to cater for listings being updated and changed, such as when a property sold there is a requirement for it to appear on the Sold page, and also maybe that property also becomes a rental listing and so on.
The site also had to be mobile friendly and optimised for SEO, with dynamic maps for each listing, contact forms pertinent to each listing and so on - Jo's website has to compete with the giants.
Jo opened her doors in February and began the huge process of loading the content up to her own website, but found the whole back end to the site to be user friendly and intuitive, in other words easy to use.
Cameron and Susana were great in establishing a very modern user friendly site, I'm starting a new business and I have received nothing but positive feedback on the website. It's a very user-friendly website - very nicely done and the information is very clear. Jo Hull, Properties Uralla
